Mother's Day

My three babies made me breakfast and the kids woke me up saying "surprise!" (Caden) and "prize!" (Violet) and produced a little box wrapped in tissue paper and tied with ribbon. Beautiful pearl earrings. They gave me their lovely cards and made sure I felt special.

I love being their Mum and Mike's wife...

Speaking of which, my lovely husband bought me a tripod for my birthday out of the blue and its been sitting in the box for a month. So while he was getting ready to go out, we tried that baby out. With a little crop, one of these pictures will be gracing my nightstand. I only wish Daddy was in the place of Pippin! Although Pippin is practically part of the family and the only soft toy in the house who gets his very own bed at night (right next to Caden's bed on a cushion and always swaddled the the pink eyelet blanket!)

We recently turned her car seat around now she is approaching two.

We had a lovely afternoon with the other Mom's of this side of the family, Grandma and GG and the weather was about as perfect as it could be.
