Settling in at home

Our Violet is six days old now and it feels like shes been here forever. There has been no crazyness, no sleepless nights on anyones part and no adjustment time needed for Caden to get into new role as big bro. Violet just fits right in and we all love her so much! Caden even slept right through in his big boy bed for the first time in months and months! I am so proud of him and the way he is handling it. He loves her! This morning when he came into our room, he glanced at the bassinet and swiftly left the room again to come in dragging his step stool from the bathroom. He placed it next to the bassinet, climbed up and peered in. "Hi Violet" he said and then let out a little high pitched 'hmmmmm' as he gently stroked her! I love my kids!

Pretty wall letters for a pretty name and a pretty girl!

Pretty Miss Violet

Today my Caden had his first real 'excursion' without Mummy and Daddy and went to see the animals at The Game Farm with Grandma and Papa. Daddy caught up with some yard work, so what's there for us girls to do? Dress up Violet and take some pictures of course!
