Ship Ahoy! and Harrogate

Cousin Tom's ship 'HMS Illustrious' just happened to come into Liverpool the first weekend we were home and he invited us all to take a tour before he left the ship for his two week break before leaving once again for the Falklands for a 6 month tour.

It was awesome to be able to look around the ship and even go into the captains area! The tantrum that Violet had in the captains quarters was equally as awesome and having to carry her down flight of steep ladders while kicking and screaming was fun, especially for Grandad who did a great job of carrying her down concidering!

After a few days at 'home' on the Wirral we left to spend a couple of days in Harrogate with Kate and Joel. I loved Harrogate and spending time with little sis who drove us the two hours there and two hours home! We stayed in a lovely Inn that night and had a yummy meal in a French restaurant, while Daddy Daycare said he would watch the kids who were very tired, what a lovely husband/Daddy!

Lunch at 'Jakes' otherwise known as Fawlty Towers!

Looking like a proper little English Boy!
