The Big Fat Christmas Post

The kids are now both at the age where every little part of preparing for Christmas is exciting! It was a especially fun, relaxed and all round lovely holiday this year.

On Christmas Eve the kids spread reindeer food across the lawn (complete with sparkles to help them fly), placed a plate of cookies and milk for Santa on the ottoman, put on their new Christmas jammies and went to bed to read Christmas stories and fell asleep full of dreams and excitement.

In the morning they woke up to this...along with a plate of cookies crumbs, an empty glass and a letter from Santa. Their faces were a picture! Caden looked from the staircase in disbelief with raised eyebrows for a few seconds before it sunk it and Violet smiled from ear to ear! They must have been good this year!

Time to open presents from Santa.

And then a breakfast with Christmas crackers and paper hats before opening the gifts under the tree from our family and friends in England.

Hex Bugs from Nana and Grandad!

The latest Rescue Bot from Great Nana and Great Gramps!

A wooden castle fit for a Princess from Nana and Grandad

Then it was time to get pretty and handsome. Violet was hamming it up for the camera!

And there was a very special visitor who came to see the children at Grandma and Papa's house... Santa!

Santa brought Violet her very own jewellery!

And he brought something very special for Caden, his own bell from Santa's sleigh and a note saying "Caden...always believe"

My favorite pictures of the day...

Everyone got to sit in Santa's lap, Grandma...

And even Jimmy!

My fam :)

And Jen and Brian too, too bad we forgot to get a picture of Papa with Santa.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night xxx
