What's new?

In the news...

Auntie Kate and (in Violet's words) Uncle 'Doel' have now left and we are back to our normal routine, I miss my sister. I like having lots of people around and so do the kids :(

Caden has declared himself too 'grown up' for Toy Story and baths. He likes Star Wars and showers. Ok?

Violet says goodnight to all the 'pincesses' at night including 'cuckoo-hontas, t-ana and (my personal favourite) sweeping booty'!!

Caden has regressed back to coming into our bed at night after months and month and months (and months) of blissful sleep on all our parts with each person tucked into their correct bed until morning.

We now back to nightly games of musical beds in which Caden and I take a turns in each of our beds, sometimes alone, sometimes together, and Daddy often sleeps in three beds a night, starting in our own, moving into Caden's and then giving up and going down to the guest bedroom in the dark of the night, usually kicking a step stool or stubbing a toe and cursing as he goes. Thoughts out loud: I wonder if Caden and Daddy are too grown up' to Ferberize??

Violet continues to sleep like am angel except for the rare occasional wail.

Needless to say, we are all in great moods in the morning...and I will be contacting that sleep fairy to come back, only this time instead of leaving toys for good nights, she will take away toys for bad nights. This time the fairy means business...

Violet is talking away non-stop and is singing songs in her lovely little voice. Movies coming soon!

Caden watches the spoof music video on youtube 'Move's like Jabba' (The Hut) about a million times a morning and is vastly learning the words. He did a dance show to it this morning for my playgroup and was not shy!

Violet can count to 12!!!
